YBS 2024 Video

The Youth Bike Summit (YBS) is a 3-day national conference bringing together students, educators, advocates, researchers, policy makers and community leaders in order to gather and share ideas, give youth a voice, and encourage civic engagement and advocacy.  

Community Bike Works (CBW) in Allentown, PA is working with the National Youth Bike Council to put on this year's YBS! CBW staff is constantly working to plan workshops, speakers, panels, and other activities, while maintaining our Earn a Bike classes, other programs, and collaborating with our youth leaders on what is means to host an event of this importance!  

The National Youth Bike Summit will take place in Lehigh Valley, PA with the Muhlenberg College campus being our main gathering place and acting as our home base. 

We expect about 400 attendees, with 2/3 being youth! 

Early Bird Registration is $80 per youth and student, $130 per adult. Regular Registration is $110 per youth and student and $160 per adult.  

Registration purchases are non-refundable but they are transferrable within your organization.  

The YBS has partnered with Muhlenberg College to provide venues for activities and housing spaces for attendees. On site housing does come with fees per person, per night and you will need to bring your own blankets, sheets, and pillows. The pricing is as follows, $48 per person, per night for s single room and $38 per person, per night for a double room. Register for housing at Muhlenberg College here.

If you are not looking to take advantage of on site housing, we have partnered with local hotels that have limited space available .Hotel rooms at a discounted rate are available at these hotels:

• Renaissance Allentown Hotel for 159 USD per night
• Four Points by Sheraton Allentown Lehigh Valley for 139 USD per night

Yes! If you have early travel accommodations, there will be additional nights available for a fee. 

Yes, all groups must register for the conference. If you register day of the event, it will be priced at a regular rate and you will not be able to use Muhlenberg's housing accommodations. Take advantage of Early Bird pricing now!
